Q
Thank you for purchasing a seal the other day.
We hope you like the product you purchased.
Are you already back in Germany?

Now, I would like to ask you a few questions about the seal you purchased from us.
I would appreciate it if you could answer.
Please tell us your opinion about stamps.
A

Thank you for making my own seal.
At first I was a little worried that the language barrier might make it difficult to get the seal made the way I wanted, but in the end I had nothing to worry about.
I am happy with the finished product.
You were warm and welcoming and helped me find what I wanted.
ありがとうございます。

Q
There are many other Japanese souvenirs out there,
so why did you become interested in stamps?
A

Our teacher told us a bit about the name stamps. I also heard of them before in a documentary.
For European people the concept of having a name stamp is uncommon, as we always sign documents with our signature.
Therefore, I thought it would be a unique souvenir and as a present for my family.

Q
How did you hear about our company?
A

I found your company name on google.

Q
Did you hear about our company and contact us immediately?
A

I did not contact you directly, as I do not really like making phone calls, I also thought that it could become a problem, because I cannot speak much Japanese.
Hence, I went directly to your store hoping that I could get an appointment with you.

Q
What made you decide to buy a seal?
A

It looked pretty nice, and the reviews were good.
As it was close by to the accommodation I lived in too, I choose you.

Q
Have you actually obtained a seal and how do you use it?
A

Maybe I am going to use the seal for signing my art, or for special occasions.
Unfortunately, I cannot really use them for many things, because just a few people could read katakana and understand what is written there.

Q
What would you say to someone else if you were promoting our company’s seal?
A

It is a beautiful stamp, with your name/logo/… engraved in it.
It becomes a nice to have souvenir of Japan, which can be a starting point for a conversation about the Japanese (Asian) culture.
Even though most not know the meaning behind it, it does not diminish the value and uniqueness of your own name stamp.
It comes by a handy case, which allows you to use your seal at any time you need/want it.
